About the Cargo and Shipment Requirement

Our company has established long-term partnership with key mushroom distributors in France. As the major producers and distributors of various mushroom products, they have very strict requirements regarding temperature control and delivery time for the mushrooms that imported from China.

Fresh boletus edulis are processed through washing and fumigation process, and then must be stored in a frozen enviornment with a steady temperature of -22°C to preserve their freshness and nutritional value. Throughout the shipment, the reefer must maintain continuous refrigerated as well, with the temperature consistently kept between -20°C and -22°C. If the temperature is too high, it may cause the frozen goods to thaw, and re-freezing may result in ice crystals forming, leading to a decline in freshness and spoilage even. Especially during the summer with hot weather, strict temperature control is extremely required throughout the entire cold chain logistics.

1)  Taking all transportation requirement into consideration and after careful comparison of different options, we secured reefer spaces on the corresponding Hapag-Lloyd voyage to ensure timely delivery of the cargo at the port of discharge;

2)  Through our special efforts, we managed to use relatively new reefer containers with less than three years of age for this shipment to maximum ensure the freshness of the goods;

3)  To meet the strict requirement, we equipped Hapag-Lloyd's HL LIVE functionality on GPS tracking and temperature real-time monitoring, ensuring full control and real-time visibility throughout the transportation;
